Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins or two children who are similar in age the double stroller is a must. The best ones provide different ways for your children to ride with you, including side-by-side seating as well as an attachment for a rider board.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's top stroller. It can be adapted to your family's needs effortlessly. It can accommodate two infant car seats as well as an infant seat. This makes it an ideal option for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the top double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish and attractive side-by-side double stroller. It is a little more bulkier than other Bugaboo models however, it is solid and built to last. It has an adjustable handlebar that can be extended and retracted easily. It has a long reach so my husband, who is 6'1" is able to easily push it, even when fully laden.

Seats are comfortable and can be positioned in a way that one child is on top of the other or so that the children are facing each the other. They can also recline independently from each other. The canopies cover both seat fabrics should you wish to. They don't have much ventilation and can appear like an oven on hot days. They do not have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.

This stroller comes with an unique feature that lets it expand with you and your family. It can be converted from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double side by side stroller. This is the only convertible double stroller that can do this! It can also be used in conjunction with a second car seat or bassinet for newborns.

It is easy to navigate on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only downside is that it can be difficult to navigate crowded shops and restaurants. It can be difficult to fold the seat down, particularly if it is connected. It's still pretty small, however, and does fit through most doors easily.

In mono mode, there's a storage bin next to the front seats. This is ideal for groceries and other things. The main storage basket under the seats is large and can hold up to 100 lbs. This is more than any other stroller we have listed!

Uppababy Vista v2

This stroller is one of the top twin strollers for newborns. It is compatible with a variety of bassinets and infant car seats (adapters are sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats at the same time if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

In comparison to the original Vista, the V2 has made a few improvements to make it even better. The toddler seat is a half-inch higher, the footrest is more space and the canopy is equipped with an extender for the fabric that zips out, which adds extra coverage. The harness has also been upgraded and does not require re-threaded, making it easy to adjust.

The stroller comes with large wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in the back) and a strong suspension system, which lets it navigate any terrain. The front wheels are rubber which makes them suitable for navigating rocks, gravel and cobblestones. While the rear wheels have more tread to tackle paths and grassy hills.

Another feature that is great is the ability to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, which can be a handy option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who is old enough to stand up, the Vista stroller can fit another child in with its piggyback board accessory.

Vista is a simple device to use. Vista is easy to use and set up, though it can take some time to remove all of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there is also a YouTube video to help for assistance if you require more information.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the latest version of the popular stroller that is made to attract modern families that value style, sustainability and adventure. It features exciting improvements such as a built-in foot rest and an updated reclined seat that promises the best comfort for children on long jogging and walks. Its sleek and agile design is also enhanced for improved mobility.

It is incredibly light, making it easy to drive and speedy to accelerate on the road. Its suspension is able to take on sudden changes in the surface (such as grass to pavement) and the oversized tires provide enough traction for any terrain. It can easily climb kerbs without trouble and it turns in tight spaces like city streets with precision. Even narrow sidewalks and crowded park are no problem for it.

While the brand new Urban Glide 3 offers superior performance, it still retains the classic Thule qualities that make it the ideal jogger for parents. It has a large canopy that offers an excellent sun protection as well as a convenient peekaboo window a high-quality harness system, and a handbrake that is integrated with a a perfectly in-tuned lever. It also comes with ample storage, including in-seat storage pockets as well as a large cargo basket that can hold up to 15 pounds, with the zip-top cover.

This Thule Jogger also comes with a bassinet, for strolling babies and a double version that can accommodate two children. It accepts car seat adapters so that you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it comes with a one-handed fold to make it easy to transport and put away. It's also an eco-friendly choice, as it uses dyed solution in its black color options.

Cortina Together

Designed for the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents flexible seating options that let them adjust to the individual needs of each child and preferences. The two seats in the double stroller have reclining backrests, and canopies that are completely independent. The seats are also designed to accept Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the number one baby car seat in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).

A large, zipper-accessible basket at the rear provides ample storage for gear. The handle is padded to fit dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's suspension and wheels offer a smooth ride across all types of terrain, while the 1-touch rear brakes that are linked and have a toe-tap activation makes stopping easy.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This is based on the ease with which it is to fold and set up the stroller. It also considers how easy it is for you to open and close the snack tray, engage and disengage brakes, and then lift the folded stroller and carry it as if it were the trunk of a car.

We did discover some flaws to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and is closer to the extreme side of our metric than the average for this class of strollers. In addition, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is in place. Lastly the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, especially when used for a long time. Despite these issues, we believe this is a fantastic double stroller that can keep your family together for years to come.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller ideal for families with two kids. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to maneuver on flat surfaces and secure for stability on bumpy ones which makes it easy to go where you'd like to go. It also comes with a compact umbrella fold that closes in a matter of seconds, and it stands upright to make it easy to transport. Its lightweight aluminum frame, foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the easiest double strollers to lift in our tests.

This stroller has reclined seats that can be independently adjusted and foot rests for maximum comfort for both children. The canopy is large enough to provide UPF 50 sun protection. It includes a peekaboo window to allow for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented for extra airflow, however. We also didn't like that the cup holder sits extremely high on the frame, which means you'll have to bend to reach it.

In our tipping-test, the Jeep fell over at a 39 degree angle, which is more than average for the double pram. It's heavier than the average and has more storage space for the price. The handle and seats are also well-padded.

The stroller is multi-functional and offers three modes.  twin buggy  can be used as a wagon (for stuff) or Jogger mode (with two safety belts with five points for children), or car seat mode. It can be used with one car seat for infants but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is six months old before running with them and one year old before letting them run on rough terrain. It is available in black with a limited warranty.
